Northwest Wind Symphony performed their final concert of the semester alongside the Lewis Central High School Symphonic Band on Tuesday evening, and both bands were 🔥🔥🔥🔥

We are so proud of all this studio has accomplished this year! Congratulations to all of our wonderful flutists for their musical, professional, and personal accomplishments. A special shoutout goes to senior Music Education major, Michaela Broadwell, who opted to join the flute studio this semester to better prepare her for student teaching in the fall. Best of luck, Michaela! We are so proud of you and excited for you! 👏

Way to go Audrey and Maddie for their excellent performances on student recital this past Wednesday! Audrey threw down on the Poulenc Sonata and Maddie rocked out to Bach’s Sonata in E Minor 🤘🤘

Congratulations concert band flutists and studio members on a wonderful concert this past Tuesday! ✨✨

Several studio members studying music education chose to perform on secondary instruments (Zoe, percussion; Kayla, trumpet; Mariah, percussion), and many others had the opportunity to join the percussion section for a piece with an expansive percussion part, “Foundry”. Big congratulations to Mariah for her excellent conducting of this ensemble, and congratulations to Leah for performing her last ever concert band concert!
