All those who preordered their September pumpkin, fall in a sourdough loaf, and any of our other just as delicious loaves will be picking them up at our bakery just south of town tomorrow between 330-530! See you all tomorrow!

Bake week at A Bit of Leaven Bakery & School! The featured loaf for July is a lemon blueberry sourdough loaf with freshly zested lemon, just picked blueberries from our garden, a few dried blueberries and blueberry jam compote… Yum!!! 😋

Another impactful quarter, thanks to all of you who continue to purchase bake to order monthly sourdough breads, sourdough croissants and attend classes or schedule your own private group class!! 💜
You made it possible for A Bit of Leaven to donate $2000 this quarter to feed the food insecure of our community!!
$1000 to the Nodaway county senior center Angels program, $500 to backpack buddies of Nodaway county, and $500 to the NW Bearcat Food pantry!!

At A Bit of Leaven Artisanal Bakery & School, June has already been full of two private group baking experiences 💜
Our first group was a lovely family and friend group on a Friday night after work to make and bake scrumptious poptarts!!
Our second group just finished this morning the two day simply sourdough workshop!! Both groups were filled with energy, great questions were asked and lots of learning… plus 8 delicate melt in your mouth poptarts or two sourdough loaves were made. We even added freshly milled, in the bakery, hard red winter wheat to the sourdough bread flour mixture!!
Thank you to both groups for scheduling, your kindness and positive fun attitudes!
It was my gift to be a part of your learning experience and guide your class!!
