Northwest Missouri State University Student Affairs Student Affairs performs a variety of roles connecting students to all areas of the University and giving advice and direction when problems arise.

At NWMSU, Student Affairs is comprised of: bookstore, campus activities, campus dining, counseling center, wellness services, intercultural and international center, peer education programs, residential life, student union, and VP of Student Affairs. Some of the services that the Student Affairs office provides
for students include but are not limited to:

Providing Letters of Notification to faculty for student absences. Emergency contact for parents/others to contact students. Peer education. Scheduling of all campus facilities for non-course related activities. Assisting with and advising student organizations. Service learning projects in conjunction with academic programs. Addressing substance abuse issues on campus. Scheduling of all campus facilities for non-course related activities.
