LPH MEMBER OF THE WEEK:

Abbie Cook !!!

Last summer Abbie interned at Steel City Media, a company that works with 4 different radio stations in Kansas City. In this position, she was able to see how the promotions and communication side of a radio station works. She got to experience a mixture of behind the scenes, in-office work and being able to attend actual events they had put on.

Her favorite part was getting to work on planning one of the concerts sponsored by one of the radio stations. Abbie said it was a lot of work but a great experience seeing what details all go into making for a successful concert. After graduating, she would love to continue working in the music industry with promotions and event planning!
