A very Happy Veterans Day to all of our alumni who have served or are currently serving. We thank you for your service!

20 School Years ago, in an auditorium not so far away...
Class of 1997 through Class of 2003 all present and accounted for in this gem.

The 2016 Marching Mountaineers competed in Seymour this evening. According to one of the Band Parents, "They were 2nd Percussion, 1st Color Guard, 2nd Band, and they won the Spirit Award. Last week they swept first and were the grand champions so they have done well so far in competition!"

Congratulations to this year's group of Marching Mountaineers!

This past Saturday at the band competition at Karns, The Marching Mountaineers won 1st place in percussion, 1st place in color guard and 1st place as a band in class 3A. They also won best band out of classes 1 through 3 to bring home four 1st place trophies! Congratulations!

This isn't *our* Heritage High School in the video, but what a cool story, anyway! Once a Band Kid, always a Band Kid!

Heritage High grad Jennifer Higdon among top classical composers in U.S. The most famous East Tennessee musician you never heard of just notched her latest orchestral achievement.

For anyone interested, we have a compilation DVD available that contains performances of every field show from 1996 - 2013 on one disc. It was put together with copies of shows provided by Mr. Gallagher, and is available for purchase for $10 per copy. Please let us know if you would be interested in purchasing one.

DVDs are still on sale. 17 years of field shows, all on one disc, for only $10! How much can we present at the Spring Concert?! C'mon, Marching Mountaineers....spread the word!!! And we promise to work on concert edition DVDs soon!!

Tomorrow night is the HHS Band Christmas Concert! We plan to present the money we have raised from DVD sales to Mr. Gallagher by breaking up the show...just like the old days! BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP!! Meet us at the concert at HHS tomorrow night at 6:30p. Bring a noisemaker, silly string, toilet paper, etc. and ask us when you get there what song we're breaking up. Lets make a great showing tomorrow night!!
