If you have concerns that your child may have a developmental disability Blount County Schools will be offering a free screening for preschool students not yet enrolled in our school system.

April is Child Abuse Prevention month and pinwheel gardens are planted throughout Blount County to raise awareness that all children deserve a happy, healthy childhood. Throughout the month of April, New Hope Children's Advocacy Center will have several activities and events going on. Go to blountkids.org to check them out or see the flyer below.

Minds in Motion Learning Center will be holding a Stewards of Children training for our staff and families. It will be on Monday, April 25th from 6:30 - 8:30. This will be at the center and childcare will NOT be provided, so please make arrangements for your children. If you cannot attend this training event, there are additional community training events on the flyer below and we will be live streaming as well via zoom.

Happy Thanksgiving to our amazing staff and families! We are truly thankful for all the families who allow us to spend every day with their greatest blessing! We are also beyond grateful for our teachers! Old and new teachers - without you we wouldn’t be who we are today!

This Thanksgiving we not only celebrate our family and friends, but it is also our 2 year anniversary! We are so thankful for all of our families and staff - past, present, and future! Thank you for being an amazing part of our journey!

Are you a compassionate, energetic, and dependable individual who wants to work with small children?

At Minds in Motion Learning Center we are currently seeking to hire assistant teachers in our 2 youngest toddler programs.

The shift will be Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - CLOSE. We offer paid holidays after 90 days of employment and are closed most federal holidays. Our teachers also receive paid vacation after 1 year of employment.

We provide many opportunities for advancement in education through TECTA, CDA, and other specialization programs. New to working with a group of children? We also provide extensive paid training to our employees and go beyond state licensing requirements.

MINIMUIM REQUIREMENTS:

Must be at least 18 years old
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must submit to a background and drug screening
MUST BE DEPENDABLE and willing to work!
