Food Recovery Maryville College Chapter is excited to announce that we will be hosting the nationwide Move Out for Hunger event during finals week.
As students move out of the dorms for the summer, there is forgotten food discovered in drawers and in the backs of cabinets. Instead of throwing it away, we encourage you to donate it to Food Recovery, as all the food will be donated to the Martin Luther King Jr. Center for summer use.
More details will be coming your way as we get closer to the end of the semester.

Can you can it? That's question that Knoxville resident Jessica Comer answered at tonight's Pecha Kucha at the Bijou Theatre. Fighting food waste can be as easy saving leftover home grown produce and making it last all winter! We appreciate the canners in our lives!
