The Maryville College Scots Science Scholars program includes a three week summer bridge program prior to the beginning of the student's first year. Participants receive extra preparation, early close faculty contact, mentoring from upper level STEM students, exposure to research, and a supportive, cohesive peer group. In addition, S3 members will become visible role models and ambassadors for the math and science programs at Maryville College. A stipend of $1150 and free room and board is offered for participation in the bridge program. Participants will also receive a scholarship of up to $4000 annually.
