Last Wednesdays meeting- Just a chill study hall/game evening!

Last Wednesday’s general body meeting we had the pleasure of officer Bertha to teach us about self defense!

We had our biggest event of the year last Thursday the 26th- I Will Listen, we had an awesome turn out! Thank you so much to student senate, wellness services, haven, staff, all of the schools who participated, the community, and everyone else who made this event possible! 💚💙

Hello everyone, we are rounding the corner to our biggest event of the year- I Will Listen!!

We would love to welcome any and all people to this wonderful event surrounding mental health. Art and mental health are deeply connected, offering individuals a powerful way to express emotions. We are excited to show case over 300 pieces of art work through creative outlets like painting, drawing, music, poetry, and so much more that people use to process complex feelings, reduce stress, and build self-awareness. 💚
• March 26th, 1-7pm
• Free refreshments, pens, and stickers
• Musicians playing live music
• Booths available- Big Brothers Big Sisters, wellness services, and admissions

Yesterday for BSA’s general body meeting we had the pleasure of having guest speaker Meghann Kosman from North Star Advocacy Center talk to us about how this service relates to politics and the law. Thank you Meghann!

Following the meeting members wrote affirmations, and promoted the “walk with her” event for Women’s history month around various locations on campus. That event will take place March 24th, 11am at Hughes Fieldhouse! 🩷

Tomorrow March 18th from 4-8pm a percentage of the proceeds goes to our lovely Behavioral Sciences Organization. We’d love to see anyone come on in and support if they can!!💙

For our first meeting back after spring break we had Leslie Ackman teach us about active listening! We really focused on finding our inner piece, with making our own personal soul cards.
