RMA Artist Nick Swatson regularly jumps in to support other students in their performances, and our Spring Acoustic Unplugged concerts this year were no different. Nick expertly collaborated with vocalists to arrange acoustic mcovers of multiple pop and rock hits, as well as featuring many of his own beautiful original works. RMA Artists LXNDN, along with Tyler and Owen of This Hopeless Condition, spent spring this year performing throughout our Acoustic Unplugged Concert Series as well as melting faces in an impromptu performance at the New Hope Children’s Advocacy Center’s Battle for Change fundraiser where they and other fantastic young musicians helped raise over $9000 for the protection of children! They will be closing the show with a set of LXNDN’s original work along with other talented Academy students during our Punk/Metal Concert this Sunday!

RMA Guitarist Andrew, a huge fan of 90s grunge, paired up with Academy Owner Robyn for his first performance on our stage in our Acoustic Unplugged concert this spring, keeping the melancholy rhythm steady for some gritty vocals. Watch for his progress in our upcoming October show where Andrew plans to add singing to his playing, a goal we are excited to help him reach!

RMA Vocalist Shelby beautifully demonstrated her range in our Acoustic Unplugged Cover series this spring with a deeply emotional rendition of a favorite Billie Eilish tune. Pictured is her backing band, RMA Guitar and Bass instructor Andrew with his student and Shelby’s fellow vocal classmate, Ella! This picture of Shelby and her absolutely lovable sass on display is one of our favorite photos ever 💁‍♀️

RMA Actor and Vocalist Mason placed a focus on stage movement with instructor and theater director Scott Wilding for his eerie ventriloquist-inspired performance in our Showtunes R***e this spring, chilling the audience with his creepy undead vibes! Catch Mason as Dr. Dillamond in our fall production, "Magic of Oz," where he’ll give another BAAAAAAd to the bone performance. 💚✨🐐

RMA Vocalist Dezzy wowed with her Avril Lavigne cover in our Acoustic Unplugged Concert, joined beautifully by RMA Artist Nick Swatson on acoustic guitar. Then during our Spring Showtune R***e she channeled her inner warrior to powerfully lead our actors into battle 💪🏻 Catch her as the Cowardly Lion in our fall production "Magic of Oz!"
