JSE Field Day Expectations for Tomorrow 🧡💙🦊

We are excited for JSE Field Day TOMORROW, Friday, May 15th! As we prepare for a fun and successful day, we wanted to send one final reminder regarding Field Day expectations and visitor procedures.

At this time, volunteer sign-ups are closed. In order to help Field Day run safely, smoothly, and efficiently, families who did not sign up for a volunteer position ahead of time may not attend or come to campus during Field Day activities.

The only exception is for third grade families. Third grade parents may watch competition games from 9:00-10:00AM at the soccer field, even if they are not volunteering.

Due to our entire school eating lunch at the same time from 11:15AM–12:15 PM, we are asking that parents refrain from eating lunch with their child tomorrow. This will help us safely ensure that all students are able to eat during their scheduled lunch time and allow staff to effectively supervise all students and activities during Field Day.

For approved volunteers, we ask that you please:

• Sign in at the table located in front of the entrance. All adults will need to present a valid ID when signing in for their volunteer shift.​
• Report to and remain at your assigned station​
• Perform the duty you signed up for​
• Refrain from following your child from station to station​
​

Remaining in assigned roles helps keep students safe, on task, and allows activities to run smoothly for all students and staff.

Field Day Volunteer Sign-Up

Field Day will take place on Friday, May 15th, and volunteers must be on campus during their scheduled volunteer time.

Volunteer sign-up is organized by grade level and activity. To ensure that as many families as possible have the opportunity to participate, parents may volunteer for one hour per child. Please be mindful of this when signing up so we can leave spots available for other parents as well.

If you volunteer, we ask that you:
➖Report to and remain at your assigned station
➖Perform the duty you signed up for
➖Do not follow your child from station to station
➖Staying in assigned roles helps keep students on task and ensures Field Day runs smoothly and safely for everyone.

Parent Attendance Guidelines
This year, third grade parents may watch from the soccer field during competition games only, even if they are not volunteering. This is labeled competition on sign up genius.

Additional information will be shared soon regarding procedures and expectations for visitors observing from the soccer field.
All other parents will only be allowed to be on campus if they are signed up and actively volunteering for a position.

These guidelines help maintain safety, organization, and fairness while making Field Day fun and successful for all students.

TCAP is a stressful time. We loved on our staff the past two weeks with sweets and treats for a little pick me up. 💙🧡

Tomorrow is snow cones for the whole school because the kids have worked so hard! 🦊

We love SRO Mussio. He keeps our school safe! He also makes police officers feel safe for our children.

Career Day at JSE! 🚔 Our future is looking bright - and safe! Students showed up ready to serve, dressed just like Officer Mussio. We love seeing big dreams in action 👮‍♂️💙
