Dear Fans and Followers,
Kansas House Bill 2299 has established new requirements regarding school district social media use and employee communication with students. To ensure Marysville USD #364 remains in compliance with the new law while continuing to provide consistent communication with our community, we will be making the following changes.
Effective August 15, the Marysville FBLA page associated with Marysville USD #364 programs will be discontinued. Moving forward, all district, athletics, and activities communications will be shared through our official district pages only.
Please follow USD #364 Marysville Schools, MES, and MJSHS to stay informed about district news, events, athletics, and activities.
We appreciate your understanding and continued support as we make this transition to comply with state law. Thank you for being a valued part of the Marysville USD #364 Schools family.

Before we get our new school year started, we are excited to announce our final national award for the 2025-2026 school year! This is the highest level chapter national award that school’s can earn. There are approx 5,200 FBLA chapters globally, and 612 earned this Gold Champion Chapter award. The state of Kansas had 7 Gold Champion Chapters. This award is based upon all the activities of our chapter for the entire year. A huge thank you to our members and officer team for planning/participating in all our activities!

Day #4 (our final day) in New York was amazing! After breakfast we went to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art! (The MET!) We then took a major tour of beautiful Central Park! For lunch we ate at The Boathouse in Central Park. (Fabulous Lobster Rolls)😋 After spending time on 5th Avenue, it was time to head to the airport. What a trip! The Bulldogs had fun bringing some Kansas vibes to the Big Apple….and learning/experiencing so much during our time there. 🐾❤️🐾

Day #3 in New York City was a big, big day!! We visited the 9/11 Memorial in New Jersey (over 1,000 people from New Jersey died on 9/11) , embarked on a scenic ferry ride to Liberty Island to marvel at the iconic Statue of Liberty, then explored the poignant history of immigration at the Ellis Island National Immigration Museum. After this we headed to Wall Street and had an educational presentation at the New York Federal Reserve, the only Gold Bank in our nation. We then visited the incredible National September 11 Memorial and Museum in New York. Our tour guide for our New York trip was supposed to have an interview at 9 am that day in one of the towers, but had to postpone due to a health issue. After visiting Trinity Church and Alexander Hamilton’s grave, we headed to Bagel Market near Times Square for a bagel-making workshop hosted by Bagel Up! We finished the day learning why bagels are important, and delicious, in New York!

Day #2 in New York City was another memorable day! We visited The American Museum of Natural History! In the afternoon we had great food and did a big tour of Greenwich Village/SoHo/Chinatown/Little Italy! After dinner in Times Square at Yard House, we attended a Broadway show! The Great Gatsby was amazing! On the way back to the hotel we stopped at Hamilton Park and Plaza for a beautiful view of New York at night!

Day #1 in New York City was a wonderful success! We explored Midtown today! Rockefeller Center, St Patrick’s Cathedral, 30 Rock, Fifth Avenue, Grand Central Terminal, etc. We then had dinner at Potbelly’s. After dinner we went 100 stories up above New York at Edge NYC!

Marysville FBLA was recently informed that the chapter members earned the National Champion Plus award based on activities in late winter and spring! From Nationals:
“This is an incredible achievement-your hard work, dedication, and excellence have truly paid off. You’ve set yourself apart and shown what it means to perform at the highest level.”

Saying our final goodbyes to our senior FBLA officers: President Grant Haefele, Vice President Kate Frese, and Reporter Isaac Hight. Marysville FBLA has had an outstanding year, and it is due in part to the amazing leadership of these three individuals. Thank you for all you did for our chapter! We will miss you immensely, but you have incredible adventures ahead! Your Bulldog family will always be cheering for you! ❤️🐾❤️
