Regarding ticketing at recital, clarifying FAQ:
Many families keep their tickets for scrapbooks, photo albums, shadowboxes, etc. We don't tear them, we just have you show them upon entry and keep them for re-entry if you use the restrooms, etc.

This year, the theater did not provide ushers, and several volunteers generously stepped in to help. Our volunteer ushers and staff received quite a bit of feedback last weekend that some guests don't feel the need to purchase tickets if we aren't collecting them. I understand we are operating to some extent out of trust, just as you are when you choose us year after year.

Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and supported our recital this weekend.

As a small, locally owned dance studio, every ticket sold matters. Ticket revenue helps offset the substantial costs of the theater, our teaching staff, student scholarships, and our commitment to keeping dance education affordable for families in our community.

As the sole owner of MPAC and a parent myself, I work hard to keep costs reasonable while ensuring our theater, staff, and teachers are paid fairly. When guests attend without purchasing tickets, that loss directly impacts the studio and my family rather than the theater or event staff.

To the many families who followed our policies and supported MPAC, thank you. Your support allows us to continue providing quality dance education and performance opportunities for the wonderful children and families we serve.

To the gentleman who generously donated to our ticket table: all donations go to the scholarship program. We believe everyone should be able to dance and are humbled when the community steps up to support each other. We see you! Thank you!
