Our students had so much fun creating these special Father’s Day hats, made with their own handprints and lots of love. Seeing the smiles shared between children and their dads reminds us how important these moments are.

As we celebrated our Annual Day Graduation Concert at Stellar Montessori Academy Marysville, we also celebrated and honored someone very special.

After helping bring our Marysville campus to life and helping build the strong foundation of our school community, Ms. Maura has retired from her role as Director.

We are incredibly grateful for her dedication, leadership, kindness, and unwavering support during this important chapter of our school’s history. Her belief in the Montessori philosophy, her care for our children and families, and her commitment to creating a nurturing environment have left a lasting impact on our community.

While we will miss seeing her at school each day, we are excited for her as she begins a new adventure pursuing her passion for theatre and opening her costume and party store in Mount Vernon.

Ms. Maura, thank you for helping make Stellar Montessori Academy Marysville what it is today. Your influence will continue to be felt in every classroom, every child, and every family we serve.

🐝European Hornet Spotlight! 🐝

As part of our 2025–2026 Year of Entomology, our students are discovering the fascinating world of insects, including the remarkable European Hornet!

The European Hornet is the largest true hornet found in North America and plays an important role in the ecosystem by helping control populations of flies, caterpillars, and other insects. Despite its impressive size, it is generally not aggressive unless its nest is disturbed.

Through our study of insects, children develop observation skills, scientific curiosity, and a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of nature. Learning about even the smallest creatures helps us better understand the world around us and our responsibility to care for it.
