Students are busy learning and showing Northwood PRIDE! Our newest Monarchs in kindergarten are doing an amazing job adjusting to our cafeteria routines. Also, thank you Northwood Elementary PTO as the new playground equipment for our students has been a huge success. They love it! We hope to see you at Eda’s tomorrow, August 27, as 30% of sales will be donated back to our PTO.

We had a wonderful time having our Kindergarten families join us for lunch today during their assessment appointment! As a reminder, all students in Grades 1-4 will start school on Monday, along with our final day of Kindergarten assessment appointments. Then, on Tuesday, all Kindergarten students will officially begin their first day of school.

The First Time Rider event is Saturday, August 15, at IMPACT Stadium from 10:00 AM - 12 noon. 🚌 🦁

Join us for our First-Time Rider Event on August 15 from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Impact Stadium for a fun-filled opportunity to get comfortable with riding the school bus before the first day of school!

Families can enjoy:

🎁 A chance to win a loaded backpack

Huge THANKS to the United Way of Union County and NBC4 for their generous support by donating school supplies.

If you need any school supplies, these will be FREE and available in the Northwood gym during our August 18, 2026, Open House / Meet the Teacher event for Grades 1-4 from 4:30-6:00 PM and our Kindergarten event on August 24, 2026, from 5-6 PM. Just stop by and take what you need.
