We're excited to begin introducing the newest members of the MJUSD Child Development Team!

First up is Stephanie Raya! Stephanie joins us from Yuba City with years of experience in both special and general education. She is passionate about building strong relationships with children and families while creating a safe, welcoming classroom where every child feels valued and supported.

She loves watching young learners grow in confidence as they discover new things each day. Outside of school, you'll find Stephanie fishing, trying new foods, spending time with family and friends, or exploring new places.

Her goal is simple but meaningful: that every child walks into the classroom feeling safe, loved, important, and excited to learn.

When it comes to story time, Stephanie enjoys sharing Frog and Toad and Big Panda and Tiny Dragon, and she loves bringing learning to life through dramatic play and interactive reading experiences.

Please join us in giving Stephanie a warm MJUSD welcome!

Last week we had two days of learning, connecting, and reimagining inclusion in preschool. Our Conscious Discipline Inclusion Academy gave educators hands-on strategies to create classrooms that inspire curiosity, connection, regulation, and belonging—so every child can thrive.
