Under the sea 🌊

Our little explorers had an unforgettable week diving into the wonders of the ocean! Through hands-on activities, art, sensory play, stories, music, and science, they discovered amazing sea creatures, explored colorful underwater habitats, and learned how to care for our oceans.

The week became even more special as we shared an early birthday celebration for Teacher Sandra’s 50th birthday.

What a beautiful week filled with learning, laughter, love, and memories we’ll treasure for years to come.

Our first week of Summer Camp was vibrant and engaging as we explored the exciting world of rainbows! Through hands-on activities such as art projects, sensory play, science experiments, storytelling, music, and outdoor explorations, the children learned that colors surround us everywhere. We looked for rainbow hues in nature, mixed colors to make new shades, and celebrated the beauty and diversity of our colorful environment. It was a joyful week filled with creativity, curiosity, laughter, and learning!

Moving Up and Recognition Day

Celebrating our Little Explorers and all the incredible things they've learned this year.

From the very beginning of Little Explorers to this special preschool graduation day… what a beautiful journey it has been. 💛

She is the last sibling in their family to graduate from our preschool, and my heart feels so full and emotional watching this chapter come to an end. Their family has been one of the pioneers of Little Explorers Learning Center, and for almost 8 wonderful years, they have trusted me to be part of their children’s early learning journey.

Watching all three of them grow, learn, play, and blossom through the years has truly been such a blessing. It won’t be the same without seeing their family around every day, and they will always hold a very special place in my heart and in the Little Explorers family.

Thank you for growing with us through the years. We will surely miss you all so much. 💕

Some of the best childhood memories are made barefoot in the water. 💦

This week, our Little Explorers went on a fun adventure as we learned about boats and life at sea! We discussed islands, boats, captains, and how the wind helps sailboats move across the water. Children practiced listening, following directions, and using their imagination as they pretended to be captains navigating their ships to different islands. Our activities also helped build vocabulary, problem-solving skills, and creativity while sparking curiosity about the world around them.

This week, we finished our Insects and Bugs theme by exploring crawling bugs such as slugs, caterpillars, inchworms, and beetles. The children were fascinated by interesting facts, including that slugs have blue blood and that they p**p from an opening near their heads! Through hands-on activities and special projects, children improved their fine motor skills, creativity, and hand-eye coordination. Counting, number recognition, alphabet activities, listening skills, following directions, and vocabulary building were also included throughout the week. It was a fun and engaging way to foster curiosity and a love for learning about the natural world!
