Located in Marysville, WA, we are centered around child led and play based education. The 4/5 class prepares the student for kindergarten.

My degree is in Early Childhood Education, while a child plays they are working on fine motor skills, social interaction and cognitive play. The 2/3 class is an introductory class that builds the foundation of a preschool environment. They learn to stand in line, sit in a circle, be self sufficient, kind to others as well as inclusion. Literacy is everywhere in our class to the letters on the name

* This might look like preschool fun but our students are working on fine motor skills, ripping up paper.
Students are learning to organize and match colors.
* Problem solving, how many magna tiles do we need to build a garage?

Preschool is fun, preschool is learning and we are building a foundation for a successful educational career 🖍️

Transferring eye balls from one bucket to another takes coordination and hand eye coordination.
But students are just having fun in their eyes.

Play based learning teaches a child to problem solve, take turns and show kindness to all.
Over the last three years of teaching, I have had multiple students on the spectrum. A student that is nonverbal learned how to communicate with fellow students using sign language and picture cards. This taught the whole class how to communicate with the student as well. Our Students learn that every student is important.

Students learn to look at bubbles and see the beautiful colors and the reflections of the world around them. We had a dental office come in and teach the students how to brush their teeth, which students then played that out and showed me how the dolls in the dollhouse, clean each other‘s teeth .

We have spots available in the morning, 2’s class as well as the pre-K class in the afternoon

To some it’s just a bubble but it’s actually a geometric shape floating through the air!
Bubbles are something that we do every day at preschool both outside and sometimes inside.
We have explored the questions: Can a bubble float through the air in the rain? Yes!
Can a bubble show you which way the wind is blowing? Yes!
Are bubbles filled with beautiful rainbow colors? Yes!
