Cherrywood Preschool Located in Marysville, WA, we are centered around child led and play based education. The 4/5 class prepares the student for kindergarten.

My degree is in Early Childhood Education, while a child plays they are working on fine motor skills, social interaction and cognitive play. The 2/3 class is an introductory class that builds the foundation of a preschool environment. They learn to stand in line, sit in a circle, be self sufficient, kind to others as well as inclusion. Literacy is everywhere in our class to the letters on the name tags to the labels with pictures on bins. We are not a preschool with work sheets, we teach through the art areas, homemade play dough, puzzles, and fun!

We also go on field trips, the library, Bridges Pets, the grocery store and close by outdoor trails to explore the world around us.
