If you use stock, broth, bouillon cubes, powders, or stock pastes in your home canning, you’ll want to see this! 🥣

The latest recommendations clarify when and how to safely use broth or stock concentrates in canning recipes. Spoiler: it’s not as simple as just tossing in a cube!

âś… Stock or broth can be used in current, tested pressure canning recipes
âś… Use only when the recipe calls for it
âś… Always fully reconstitute first
❌ Never substitute for water, juice or other liquid in boiling water canning
