Our school offers a shared learning experience for children AND their grown-ups. Social interaction, understanding others and cooperation are important skills.
As parents, we can demonstrate and foster these traits by participating in a cooperative preschool. We believe that children and their parents must be accepted as they are, and that every child and parent makes a special contribution according to his or her own needs, interests and abilities.

🎉 Congratulations to our 3’s class who celebrated their last day of school yesterday! It was an amazing and special year with Teacher Michelle. We look forward to seeing many of you moving on up to our Pre-K next year at MCP! We are so proud of you all! 🌟
☀️ FIELD DAY ☀️
Our Pre-K class had an amazing last field day at MCP! They played field games, colored, rode bikes, fished for rubber duckies, tie dyed shirts, and much more to earn stickers which they could turn in for fun prizes! It was a fun filled day with all the students and the parents who volunteered to help make it as fun as it was. Thank you Teacher Raine for an unforgettable day and year! ❤️

🐸 🐸 This week in the 2’s class, the children learned about pond life and what it means to be a frog, from studying our live tadpoles in class to exploring a sensory bin filled with river rocks, sponges, plastic frogs, lily pads, and water. They had so much fun engaging their senses while building early science skills like floating and sinking, strengthening fine motor development, and expanding language as they described textures and actions. We paired this with process art using sponges and paint, giving the children a chance to experiment freely with color, pressure, and movement. So much learning happens when children are given open-ended materials and the freedom to explore them at their own pace!
