Hey Cedarcrest Families!

Can you believe next week is the LAST WEEK of School?! I know we can't! Here is some information about early releases and when our offices will be closed for summer. Only a few more days left Timberwolves, let's make them the best we can.

Today at Cedarcrest it's Devon Day! Staff have once again dressed up as our wonderful security guard, Devon Rose, as recognition of his hard work. Leadership provided some treats for Devon as another part of this celebration. Help us in thanking Mr Rose for keeping our school safe and being a friendly face here at CMS!

This week, we are recognizing our 8th graders for almost completing middle school and being on their way to high school! Last night we hosted our first annual 8th Grade Recognition Night. Students and their families heard speeches from students and principals, and received certificates of completion for middle school. A special thank you to Sunnyside Nursery for their donation and help providing flowers and plants for this event! And this morning students from MGHS came to lead an assembly to help Timberwolves feel prepared for their next journey. Congratulations Cedarcrest 8th graders, we are proud of you. Good luck in high school you'll do great!

Last week, CMS 7th Grader Emanuel Alberto competed at the 2026 Pacific Northwest High School and Middle School Judo Championships. Emanuel earned 2nd place in the high school level. Congratulations on your hard work Emanuel, and demonstrating the Cedarcrest Commitment!

You can now pre-order your 25/26 yearbook Tuesdays through Thursdays at the ASB Office from 9am to 2:30pm. Yearbooks are $25 with ASB and $30 without. Hurry and order yours today!

There will be no school this Friday (5/22) as well as next Monday (5/25) for Memorial Day Weekend.

Timberwolves 💖 our bus drivers! This morning our Leadership students greeted bus drivers with signs and warm water for cocoa or coffee (provided by Leadership!). Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day, we are thankful for you!

Calling all incoming 7th grade Timberwolves!

Just a reminder that our welcome night is tomorrow 4/15 from 5:30-6:30pm. Stop by for a presentation from student leadership and staff, you can also swing by our Bookfair! We hope to see you tomorrow night!

Spring Break is next week - can you believe how fast this Quarter went? Cedarcrest students will be released at 11:45am this Friday (4/3), and there is no school next week for Spring Break! We wish you a safe and fun break Timberwolves!

WOW! We hope you all got to enjoy James and the Giant Peach Jr, I know our drama department certainly did. Thank you to everyone who came out to support our students, they worked incredibly hard on this show. We want to shout-out our wonderful cast and crew of students, you each did such an amazing job. Thank you to our volunteers who helped throughout the creation and during performance weekend, we couldn't have done it without you. And last but certainly not least the shout-out for most dedication and heart goes to Mr Oke and Mrs Thomas. You two are the soul of this program and we couldn't be more thankful for your efforts. Let's give one final applause to this wonderful team. We will see you next year for our Fall Play and Spring Musical!
