Larry and i went over to Lummi Island and had a great day. After a road tour of the island, we cleaned up the family plots for Grandma Thelma, Grandpa Matt, Uncles Doug, Uncle Stuart, Uncle Jerry,and Cousin Mallory. It was a wonderful day. Great idea Larry!

A few weeks ago I joined some of you on the island to celebrate Tanya's life. Linda, Susan, and I went to the cemetery and saw that Mom's bench was in poor condition. I now have it at home for a face lift. I will work on it over the winter and have it back in place by her birthday. It was great seeing you all. Love, Bruce

May your 4th of July be fun and safe. I can't celebrate a 4th without thinking of Auntie Heather Larson and how much fun she made the holiday. I can still see her dressed up in red white and blue from head to toe.

Take Exit 200, 88th Street NE / Quil Ceda Way
Go left or East on 88th
Right on State Avenue, 1.0 miles
Left on Grove/72nd street NE, .7 miles
Right on Armar Road / 51st Ave NE, .2 miles
Red Barn parking lot on left.

From South on I-5
Exit 199 / WA-528 E
Right on 4th Street / WA-528, .7miles
Left on 47th Ave NE, .1 miles
Stay straight onto Armar Road, .4 miles
Red barn parking lot on right.

Bring your own item for the BBQ chef to prepare as well as some dish to share. There is no alcohol allowed in the park. There will be a donation bucket to help cover expenses. The large hall we rented will allow for a great gathering rain or shine.

Hey there Nilsen Clan,

We are only a couple weeks out from the final Nilsen Reunion planning meeting. We really need a good turnout to make this reunion a success. Please pass the word to any others that may not see this via Facebook. I hope to see you at Jennings Park, 6915 Armar Road Marysville, WA. We will find a spot near the red barn on Sunday August 11th @ 1:00. Bring something for the picnic meeting. There are a few entrances to the park. The parking lot closest to the Red Barn meeting place is on the N/W end of the park off of 51st Avenue NE, approximately 3 city blocks south of Grove Street.

I took me several months of working on it a little bit at a time. I made the Nilsen coat of arms ring case which holds Grandpa and Grandma's wedding bands. It is now part of the Book of Nilsen.
