We were just grabbing lunch after school, and he wanted to order by himself…. The cashier noticed us signing and asked, “What’s your name?” In ASL. He not only understood but signed it for the very first time on his own… then said, “Luca,” with his little L in a circle, his sign name. 🥹 I could’ve cried right there. Since starting school, he’s just blossomed…finding his confidence, his voice, owning his language. Watching him proudly introduce himself like that… I don’t even have words. Just so proud of this little boy and how far he’s come. 🤍
