Thriving Together

Spent a morning volunteering at the Magnetic Mobile Market then on to the Johnny Appleseed Education Center in Urbana. Our groups are busy bees!!!

Have you stopped in to Thriving Together Collective General Store yet? If not, you should go and see some of our clients who work there learning job skills. I have noticed a lot of changes from when they first started. As with any of us starting a new job you start out quiet and a little unsure of yourself. 3 months later and they are pros at customer service, labeling, bagging, stocking and even landscaping. They are making some of the items for sale like bracelets and candles. They also make funny or should I say punny videos. Let us know what you think.

We took a community member's suggestion to try the Farmer's Daughter in Urbana and we loved it. Then stopped at Freshwater Farms to check out the fish. In June we will be heading to the Chocolate Cafe, another community member suggestion. We love having new places to try out.

Shout out to our community volunteer Kim who has joined the ladies several times to show how to transplant flowers and make a new craft. We love being a part of this community!!!

Cooking is fun, but there is always clean up that goes along with it. If you need a taste tester, I'm sure we could get some volunteers!!!

We have adjusted our hours to align with the Union County Farmer's Market.

Saturday 10am-12pm & Sundays are run by volunteers & may need adjusted from time to time.
