We've officially landed at the Yuba County Airport... and this is it!

Today marks the FINAL Summer Meal Bag Distribution of the season! Our crew has touched down with a cargo hold full of nutritious meals, and we're ready to make one last delivery to our amazing families.

Stop by and pick up your summer meal bags, packed with 7 days of healthy breakfasts, 7 days of delicious lunches, a gallon of milk, and a produce bag overflowing with fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables.

We'll be at the Yuba County Airport until 11:30 a.m., but we encourage everyone to arrive as early as possible. While supplies have been planned carefully, coming early helps ensure a smooth pickup and gets you on your way quickly.

Our explorers have completed one final mission, navigating the summer heat and landing safely with provisions for your family. Now it's your turn to stop by, collect your meal bags, and send your young adventurers into the new school year fueled for success.

This is your last opportunity this summer, so don't let this flight leave without you! We can't wait to see you at the Yuba County Airport one last time.

Adventure Alert! Tomorrow is Summer Meal Bag Distribution Day!

Our expedition crew has packed the supplies, mapped the route, and is ready to roll! Tomorrow is your chance to stock up on a full week's worth of nutritious meals for your young adventurers.

Distribution Route 1:
Brownsville Fire Station: 8:15 to 9:00 a.m.
Alcouffe Center: 9:30 to 9:45 a.m.
Loma Rica Community Church: 10:15 to 11:00 a.m.
Cordua School: 11:15 to 11:45 a.m.

Distribution Route 2:

Franklin Elementary 8:30-10:00 am

A huge thank you to 93Q for shining a spotlight on the incredible work our amazing Nutrition Services team does all year long!

Hungry children don't take the summer off, and neither do we. Every week, our amazing team handcrafts, packages up and goes out to serve families, making sure kids in our entire community have access to healthy, nutritious meals when school is out. The meals aren't just for children enrolled at MJUSD....it's for any child 18 and under. All free!

Our expedition will officially touch down at the Yuba County Airport at 8am with a cargo hold full of summer meals! After navigating the scorching desert heat and making a successful landing, our crew will be on the ground and ready to serve.

No need to brave the dangers of an empty fridge this week. Stop by and pick up your summer meal bags, packed with 7 days of healthy breakfasts, 7 days of delicious lunches, a gallon of milk, and a produce bag overflowing with fresh, locally grown Pluots from our friends at WildRiver Fruit not to mention some local veggies as well! all procured by our amazing partners Spork Food Hub And yes... those delicious strawberries are back again this week!

The best part? the average wait time is only about 5 minutes at the airport, so you'll be in and out in no time just watch out for elephants on the runway!

Braving the desert tundra, our Nutrition Services crew is out in full force today at the airport handing out summer meal bags! ☀️❄️

The heat may be trying its best, but families are still rolling through and stocking up on a week's worth of nutritious meals for their children.

Thanks to several improvements we've made this year, waiting in line is practically a thing of the past. Our average wait time today has been just 5 minutes!
