Like many of you, we were devastated to hear about the passing of Dolly Parton. In 1995, Dolly started the Imagination Library in honor of her father, Robert Lee Parton. She said he was the smartest man she’d ever known and she had often wondered what else he could have done if he’d had the ability to read and write. Before his passing, her father said that the Imagination Library was the greatest thing his daughter had ever done.
Dolly’s family has requested that that donations be made to the Imagination Library as a way to honor Dolly Parton and her legacy.
