Several years after imposing the 'hymn of the month' regimen, someone phoned in a bomb threat to our school. Our response protocol was to assemble the students in a safe space... in this case, our gym. The students were scared.... One of our teachers came to me—'It's time to sing.'
..The students relaxed and started requesting other hymns they now knew, in parts. I stood at the entrance to the gym as the police and their dogs swept the building. Great things were going on in that gym. I watched as beauty rang out from five hundred children... who, in the face of danger, sought beauty. It was their solace."

As we begin this school year, we pray. ❤️

Lord, thank You for the gift of another year at TCCA. Go before our teachers and staff, giving them wisdom, patience, strength, and joy as they lead. Bless our parents as they entrust, encourage, and walk alongside their children. And above all, surround our students. Protect them, guide them, grow them in wisdom and character, and draw their hearts closer to You.

May our classrooms be filled with curiosity and truth, our campus with joy and friendship, and everything we do point back to You.

Back-to-School Night was an incredible evening, and seeing our campus filled with TCCA families, teachers, friends, laughter, and excitement for the year ahead reminded us just how special this community is.

A huge thank you to Hicksville Barbecue, Tamped Coffee, Pop Pop Soda Shop, and Joe’s Popcorn for joining us and helping make the evening so much fun.

To our teachers and staff, thank you for the countless hours, preparation, care, and heart you have poured into getting ready for our students.

And to our parent volunteers, thank you for giving so generously of your time and talents. So much of what makes evenings like this possible happens because people simply step up and say, “How can I help?” We are incredibly grateful for you.

Most of all, thank you to our TCCA families for showing up, filling our campus, and trusting us to partner with you in the education and formation of your children.

Hello, TCCA families! 🍎

I'm Mrs. Heidi, and I'm thrilled to be joining TCCA as Kindergarten Aid.

I am originally from Pennsylvania, but for the last 3 years my family now calls Martinsburg home. In Pennsylvania we enjoyed life on our small homestead while raising chickens,cows, rabbits & and horse.

My family and I are excited to become part of the TCCA family as my son will attend school as a 3rd grade student this year.

Outside the classroom I enjoy being a wife/mom, part of TCCA Cattle Crew, shopping at boutique’s, coffee, sunflowers, camping & boating with my family.

I am so excited to become part of the TCCA community and can't wait to meet our students and families. I look forward to a wonderful year at TCCA!

Our TCCA students have spent months caring for, training, and preparing their animals, and now it's finally time to step into the show ring!

We've put together a schedule so you can easily find our TCCA LIVESTOCK PARTICIPANTS throughout fair week. Whether you stop by for one class or spend the whole day at the fair, your cheers, encouragement, and support mean the world to our students.

Hello! My name is Kelsie Massamillo and I am so excited to join the TCCA team as your new 3rd grade teacher!

This is my fifth year in education, and I truly love helping students discover their strengths, grow in confidence, and develop a lifelong love of learning through the teaching of biblical principles. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from Grand Canyon University, and I strive to create a classroom where every child feels loved, supported, and encouraged to do their very best.

I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and I'm the proud mom of three wonderful children. Being both a teacher and a parent has taught me the importance of building strong relationships with students and families. I believe every child is uniquely gifted, and I enjoy helping each student shine.

When I'm not teaching, I love spending time at the beach, cooking, and crafting. Most importantly, my faith in Jesus is at the center of my life and inspires me to lead with kindness, grace, patience, and compassion each day. ❤

Summer Camp 2026 is officially in the books, and what a week it was!

From learning new skills to making new friends, our campers embraced every adventure with curiosity, kindness, and plenty of laughter.

Throughout the week they…

🤠 Learned cowboy skills during Shelby’s Cowboy Class, including the art of branding, giving campers a hands-on glimpse into ranching traditions.

🌼 Planted marigolds and discovered the foundations of planting

🥾 Explored God’s creation on a nature hike and preserved their discoveries in resin keepsakes

🍉 Celebrated Farm Fresh Friday with a watermelon tasting, complete with yellow mustard and Tajín! Believe it or not, several of the campers gave it two enthusiastic thumbs up. 😄

💦 Cooled off with an unforgettable game of Slip and Slide Kickball that had everyone laughing from start to finish.

🪨 Created The Lord Is My Rock painted stones

✝️ Made salvation bracelets while learning about the hope we have in Christ

🙏 Crafted prayer jars as reminders to bring every prayer before God

🔬 Built, explored, and experimented during STEM with Mr. Evan

🍋 Picked fresh herbs and muddled homemade lemonade

🐐 Made a few new furry friends while petting and learning about a variety of farm animals on our campus.

❤️ Most importantly, they built friendships, grew in confidence, and experienced the joy of learning together.

Thank you to every family who trusted us with your children this week. It was a joy to spend part of their summer together, and we already can’t wait for next year’s camp!
