ISOLATION KILLS. CONNECTION CAN SAVE A LIFE.
One of the most dangerous places a struggling person can find themselves is alone with their thoughts.
Isolation tells us to withdraw.
To stop answering the phone.
To stop showing up.
To convince ourselves that nobody cares and that nobody would understand.
That’s why combating isolation is su***de prevention.
Check on your people.
Not just when they’re smiling.
Not just when they say, “I’m good.”
Check on them when they disappear.
When they become distant.
When something feels different.
Show up. Stay present. Listen.
You may not be able to take away their pain.
But your presence might remind them they don’t have to carry it alone.
Never underestimate the power of simply staying connected.
