To help us prepare for another successful year, all returning students must complete online registration before the first day of school.

What a great way to wrap up another amazing school year! 🍔🌭

On Wednesday, our faculty and staff enjoyed a wonderful end-of-year luncheon together. A huge thank you to our incredible PTO for cooking hamburgers and hotdogs and serving our faculty and staff. Your support means so much to our school family!

We also want to thank Queensborough Bank on Columbia Road for sponsoring our lunch and helping us celebrate our staff in such a special way.

A special shoutout to our retirees as they begin an exciting new chapter. Thank you for the years of dedication, love, and impact you made on our students and school community.

We ended the school year full of gratitude, laughter, and full stomachs. Here’s to a well-deserved summer break!

🦅 March & April Eagle of the Month Recognition 🦅

The last couple of months at MES have been full speed ahead and on the go nonstop… but we could never let these amazing students miss their moment to shine. 💙💛

Our March Eagle of the Month students were recognized for showing Kindness through caring actions, encouraging words, and helping others each day.

Our April Eagle of the Month students were recognized for demonstrating Patience by staying positive, respectful, and calm even during challenging moments.

Both groups celebrated their achievement with a special Chick-fil-A breakfast alongside their families, and we are so proud of the example they set for others every day.

Today we welcomed back the Class of 2026 for one final walk through the halls where their journey began. 🎓❤️

From elementary students to graduating seniors, we are so proud of all they’ve accomplished and cannot wait to see what’s next for them!

Kindergarten Kickoff was one for the books! We welcomed some new families and students, and some who already had siblings there too! Future Eagles were able to meet some of the faculty and staff, walk through lunch lines, check out the "Big Bus", visit kinder classrooms and much more! We can not wait to see them all back in August!

🚀 What a night at our STEM Night! 🚀

We wrapped up an incredible evening celebrating the conclusion of our Problem-Based Learning (PBL) projects. Our students blew us away with their innovative solutions and hard work!

A special thank you to Brooks Smith, our CCBOE CTAE Director, for joining us and speaking at our event. We are so grateful for your continued support and for being a part of this tradition every year! 🎤✨

We also want to share a massive thanks to all our community partners. Your mentorship makes this hands-on learning possible. We are so proud of our students for showing us exactly what the future of STEM looks like. 💡🔧

Pre-registration for our before and/or after care program, Camp Eagle's Nest, NOW OPEN; Monday, May 11th at 7:00 A.M. and run until Wednesday, May 20th at 6:00 P.M. 🗓️
Take advantage of our pre-registration and you'll only need to pay the $25 registration fee. This fee is nonrefundable if you decide not to use our program in the fall. 💸

From students rocking their teachers’ favorite colors to an overwhelming pour of gifts, the love was felt in every hallway.
A huge SHOUT OUT to our generous community partners! Your daily treats kept our faculty fueled and smiling all week long. ☕️🍩
We also spent the week honoring our wonderful retirees, celebrating their legacy and the impact they’ve made on so many lives. 🎓❤️

We are so proud of our 6 new teachers and their mentors attending this evening’s Rookie of the Year celebration.
