Before the titles.
Before the degrees.
Before the recognition…

There were Nursing Assistants.

The hands that lifted patients when no one else could.
The quiet strength standing beside hospital beds at 3 AM.
The voices calming frightened residents.
The hearts that kept healthcare human.

Long before healthcare became headlines, CNAs were already doing the work that mattered most — caring for people when they were at their weakest.

And here in Columbia County, Georgia… we are honored to continue that legacy.

Breath of Life Training became the FIRST full medical training school in Columbia County, and that title means something to us because this school was built on PURPOSE, compassion, sacrifice, and the belief that everyday people can change lives through healthcare.

This proclamation is bigger than a piece of paper.

It is about acknowledging EVERY Nursing Assistant who came before us…
Every CNA who worked double shifts.

✔️ LPN with at least 2 years experience in a long term care facility
OR
✔️ RN with at least 1 year experience in a long term care facility

Now let’s be real for a second… 👀
The FIRST requirement is you MUST genuinely like people. Seriously. ❤️

Second… you MUST be able to TEACH.
Not just hold a license. We need someone who can pour into students, encourage them, motivate them, and help them grow.

Third… you must be self-motivated and able to follow directions. This is not a “boss standing over your shoulder all day” type environment.
