7th and 8th grade have been working hard in their Motion and Forces unit! They’re currently in the “trial, error, growth” phase of their Rube Goldberg machine as they try and try again to achieve their goal of smashing glass with a steel ball.
🔎 Each student created a blueprint for the machine and voted on one to create.
✍️ One of our 7th graders’ designs won the vote!
👷They’ve been working together to make the design come to life! They used books, ramps, marbles, steel balls, plus a whole lot of tape to make this machine.
⚠️ Try, try, and try again! So far, something has gone wrong in each trial.
💭 This causes them to put their heads together and go back to the drawing board to see what needs to change, and how.
🤞🏼They haven’t given up yet! Though it’s a challenge and can be frustrating at times, these students are still working on achieving their goal!
