Non Trads of UTM
Non Traditional Students..majority group on campuses US wide!! This group is for Non Traditional Students.
Non Trads are students that are married or have been, over the age of 24, have children, served in the military, didn't come to college straight out of high school or took the GED,work more than 35 hrs per week,pay for their on tuition,are not US citizens.

YOU MIGHT BE A NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT IF................ 1. You have delayed enrollment (did not enter post secondary education in the same calendar year that you finished high school).
2. You attend part time for at least part of the academic year.
3. You work full time (35 hours or more per week) while being enrolled.
4. You are considered financially independent for purposes of determining eligibility for financial aid.
5. You have dependents other than a spouse (usually children, but sometimes others).
6. You are a single parent or with child (either not married or married but separated).
7.You completed high school with a GED.
8.If you are a Veteran of any Armed Forces.
Non-Trads,we will establish a meeting time after we take care of recruiting this week. The Student Organization Fair is Monday,Aug 26th at the Elam Center from 5-7pm. It will be probably week 3 before a meeting as we will need time to contact all former,present,and new Non-Trads.Please get the word out. NTSA is facing being no more if we do not get new members this semester(just being honest). Please help keep our organization in place for the further. Those us us that have been in the past few years know the value. CALLING ALL HELP. Thanks everyone.
