Our Consulate sent off four new JET Program participants for Early Departure on May 14, 2022. These Early Departure JETs leave months before the Regular Departure to fill Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) vacancies in Japanese public schools. Special thanks to this Nashville crew for serving as Early Departure JETs and best of luck in Japan!

Applications for the JET Program open in the fall of every year. Stay tuned to the Consulate's social media for updates on the application. Let us know in the comments if you have any questions about the JET Program or Early Departure.
