Attendance is about more than being in the classroom, it’s about being part of a community of people who care!

When students are at school regularly, they have more opportunities to connect with teachers and classmates, build friendships, feel a sense of belonging, and take part in the experiences that make school meaningful. Check out how you can support your child’s attendance and help them stay connected, engaged, and on track this school year: bepresentbepowerful.org

Please see the update from the Martin Public Schools District Administration Team regarding today’s parent pick-up and dismissal process.
We recognize that dismissal did not go as smoothly as we had hoped, and we appreciate the patience and understanding of our families as we work through the first-day kinks and make adjustments moving forward.
The full message to families, including additional information about today’s experience and our commitment to improving the process, can be found on our website at https://bit.ly/PickUpDismissalUpdate.
Thank you for your continued patience, grace, and partnership as we work together to make dismissal safer, faster, and smoother for everyone.

What a great day welcoming our staff back to Martin Public Schools!

Today was filled with learning, collaboration, and excitement as we welcomed familiar faces and the newest members of our Clipper family. Staff also enjoyed a team scavenger hunt while exploring the beautiful transformation of our school facilities made possible through the bond project.

A key takeaway from our learning today was a powerful reminder: Every Kid Needs a Champion—and ALL of us have the opportunity to be that person.

We can’t wait to welcome our students and families tomorrow night for Open House from 5:00–6:30 p.m. We are looking forward to getting another great school year started with you!

🍎 FREE BREAKFAST & LUNCH FOR ALL STUDENTS! 🥪

We are excited to share that all students will once again receive FREE breakfast and lunch during the 2026–2027 school year through the Michigan Healthy School Meals Program!

While meals are free for every student, we still need all families to complete the Education Benefits Form. This form is extremely important because the information collected is tied directly to additional state funding and resources that support our students, classrooms, and programs.

✅ Free breakfast and lunch for all students.
✅ No meal application required to receive free meals.
✅ Education Benefits Form still needs to be completed to further benefit our students.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to complete the form and helping us ensure our district receives every dollar available to support our students!

**To access the form, you can scan the QR Code in the graphic, or navigate to martin.familyportal.cloud and select "Apply For Benefits" **
