Martin Public Schools Welcome to Martin Public Schools. Martin is a rural Michigan community approximately 20 minutes from Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Martin serves 650 K-12 students.

Our district serves the Village of Martin and six townships from Allegan and Barry Counties. Martin Public schools serves approximately 600 K-12 students and their families. Our school community consists of the Village of Martin and portions of six townships, in two counties. Although Martin is a rural district, it is in close proximity to the metropolitan areas of Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids. Here are our rules of engagement for participation on the Martin Public Schools page:

We encourage your participation on our page and ask that you exercise civility and good will in your communication. Any comments that are intentionally rude or deride the opinions of others will be removed. There are three types of Down Syndrome with the most common called trisomy 21, or nondisjunction. It accounts for 95% of Down Syndrome cases. Translocation accounts for three percent, and the other two percent is called mosaicism.

An awesome day for our Martin Clipper Marching Band! 🎶🏆 Congratulations on earning 1st Place in Class D at today’s Grandville Marching Invitational, along with Best Music, Best Marching, and additional awards of excellence!
