Minecraft Camp was a hit!!
Campers learned so much about the game. On day one, they learned basic survival skills, how to build a starter home, and where to find different ores to mine.
On day two, they learned about enchanting tools and armor, and how to correctly use a compass.
Day three was exploring the “end” of Minecraft! (Side note: Minecraft technically has no true end and can be played forever!)
Campers worked together to explore the End City, defeat the Enderdragon and The Wither, and find the Ancient City. They also learned how to fly with Elytra wings and use Shulker Boxes!
Day four took a break from survival, and let campers build what they wanted in Creative mode.
Throughout the week, campers learned many tips, tricks, and life hacks for making your time in the game a bit easier.
What a great week!

…and that’s the end of LEGO Robotics Camp!
Today, the first group built earthquake simulators, and the second group had a free build! Some students made helicopters, cars, and even safes with locks.
We’d like to give a huge THANK YOU to the UT Martin College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences for popping popcorn for the kids today.
Thank you, parents, for coming to see their creations. They all had a fantastic week. 🤩
