First Stages Daycare

It's been awhile since I have posted here..First Stages is still going strong at almost 30 years...We are very busy every day playing and learning. We have a lot of fun.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with your children and I look forward to the years to come.

Welcomed a sweet little boy to daycare today!

We welcomed a sweet little girl to join us at daycare today. Looking forward to watching her grow and learn.

This week our Bible verse was: Children, obey your parents in all things for this is well pleasing to the Lord. Colossians3:20. We talk about how it is important to listen to our parents. Our letter was C. We talked about things that begin with letter C. We looked for Cs in magazines and glued them in our letter book. Our number was 2 and our Bible story this week was Luke 5:1-11. We learned about Jesus getting in the boat and how the fish got in the nets. They had so much fun with all of our boat and fish activities. We talked a lot about green things and triangles.

Fun and Busy morning. We had prayer time, said the pledge, read Hooper Humperdink and talked about how we should include everyone, worked on fine motor skills, worked on patterns, talked about the colors of the beads, and counted the beads, and colored.

Excited to finally find a fun curriculum on numbers that teaches about the Bible.

Working on some patterning this morning. He loves doing what the bigger kids do.

Picnic fun! It was a bit hot, but the fans helped. They had a lot of fun.
