🧡 DITL with finance senior Bailey Parker!

What does it take to lead a campus? Spend a day with Bailey Parker, SGA vice president and former SGA president, and find out!

Bailey is a finance major from Lexington, Tennessee, and a tireless advocate for her fellow students. She's also the friendly face who keeps our FMA meetings running smoothly in Watkins Auditorium.

We're so proud to have Bailey in the finance family and grateful for the positive example she sets for our students. 👏

🧡 Finance majors showed up and showed out at the COB Career Fair!

The COB Career Fair is serious business, but it's also a great chance for students to connect with industry professionals and have a little fun along the way.

This morning, our finance majors brought the energy, and senior finance major Ellie Davis is just one example of the standout students we're proud to have.

Our students volunteered across the event, helping with setup, employer and student check-in, the employer hospitality room, and as runners to keep everything moving. They were engaged and professional all morning long.

Thank you to the College of Business for supporting professional development opportunities like this one.

Our beloved College of Business building is hanging up its blazer after all these years, and we're giving it the send-off it deserves! We’ve upgraded our offerings in this fundraiser, and BOTH the tshirt and sweatshirt are Comfort Colors brand in a beautiful light blue!

Taking care of your personal finances matters, and Grant agrees! His top tip: keep a budget and track your expenses. You can't manage money if you don't know where it's going.

The good news is that budgeting doesn't have to be complicated. You can use a phone app or a simple Excel spreadsheet. Whatever works for you, tracking what you spend and what you owe each month is a great way to level up your financial preparation. 📊

🧡 Day in the Life with senior finance major Hailey Morgan! 🧡

Hailey is a senior from Newbern, Tennessee, graduating in December with a BSBA in Finance and the Trust and Wealth Management Certificate!

Her resume is already impressive. She interned with Dyersburg Electric last summer and has built her financial literacy, customer service skills, and analysis toolkit, including learning the ins and outs of the Bloomberg terminals this fall.

And now for the magic: Hailey has been accepted to the Disney College Program! ✨ Starting in January, she'll be sharing the magic for the mouse (Mickey Mouse, that is). 🐭

We're so proud of all she brings to our finance program, and we know Hailey will shine at Disney.

Thank you to Trevor Hurst, College of Business Advisory Board Chair and owner of Thompson, McConnell, and Hurst CPAs, for speaking to our freshman finance, accounting, and economics GENS classes this week!
