Floyd ATC Career Coach Providing support and resources to ensure students are on the right track to a career.

My name is Amanda Arredondo, and I am the Kentucky College/Career Coach at Floyd County ATC. This position is a partnership of the school, AmeriCorps, and the Kentucky Higher Education Assistance Authority (KHEAA). I am in place to mentor students, as well as help them get accepted into colleges or schools of their choice, as well as get students workforce ready. I will help the students map out s

chedules, find resources, visit colleges and schools, and help families see college and stable careers as a real possibility. In addition, I will provide resources that are grade-specific, so that each student can ensure that he or she is on the right track to succeed once they leave high school.
