Success is rarely built overnight—it grows from opportunities embraced, relationships formed, and lessons learned along the way.

For nearly three decades, Michael Graves ('95) has built an impressive career in the banking industry while carrying forward the values and experiences he gained as a student at UT Martin.

In our latest Alumni Spotlight, Michael reflects on his journey from campus to corporate leadership, the impact of getting involved as a student, and the advice he would give the next generation of Skyhawks.

For many Skyhawks, some of the best memories weren’t made in the classroom—they were made in the spaces that brought people together.

When we asked our 2026 graduates to name their favorite spot on campus, one place kept coming up: UTM's Paul Meek Library. 📚💙🧡

Whether it was finding the perfect study spot, meeting up with friends, or spending late nights preparing for exams, the library has been part of countless UT Martin stories.

Now it’s your turn: What was your favorite spot on campus? Drop it in the comments and tell us why. ⬇️

The future is taking shape at UT Martin!

The Tennessee Entrepreneurial Science and Technology (TEST) Hub represents a transformational investment in education, innovation and workforce development for Northwest Tennessee.

When completed, the $19 million facility will unite educational programs, entrepreneurial resources and manufacturing workshops around a shared industrial makerspace. Developed in partnership with TCAT and Dyersburg State Community College, the TEST Hub will create new opportunities for students while supporting the industries and innovators driving our region forward.

Construction is currently underway, with completion expected in early 2027.

What opportunities do you think the TEST Hub will create for future Skyhawks and our communities? We'd love to hear your thoughts.
