St Vincent de Paul

St Vincent de Paul SVS is rich in tradition. We strive to make Jesus Christ present in our daily lives. At St. The focus is on Respect, Reverence, and Responsibility. St.

Since 1884, one of the primary ministries of our parish has been the education of our youth. The success of any Catholic school is only achievable with a great deal of sacrifice by committed parents, dedicated faculty, and generous parishioners. Working together for over a century, we have achieved a quality educational environment for youth to grow into the hope of the future. The transfer of fai

th, from one generation to the next, is one of the goals of our Catholic Church, received from Christ Himself. Vincent de Paul we reverence the rich heritage we have received from the past and continue to build for a bright future. Besides providing religious education, sacramental preparation, liturgical experience, and apostolic and charitable opportunities, St. Vincent School provides an excellent and up-to-date secular education in a Catholic environment. From Preschool through Eighth Grade, our students can favorably compare themselves to students in any other Catholic, parochial, private, or public school. Our dedicated faculty and staff are led by Dr. Jennifer Maune, principal. Our facilities are well equipped for all the major needs of students, and plans continue to be made for future improvements. Our students are taught the value of Christian discipline, which strives to develop self-discipline for the future. Working together, faculty and students form one spiritual family, proud of the benefit of belonging to St. Vincent de Paul School. Parental involvement is a real asset at St. Vincent de Paul- one which is greatly appreciated and which allows our school to accomplish so much by providing many benefits to our students. Many parishioners have made great sacrifices to improve the facilities as a sign of their commitment and love for our youth. Vincent de Paul School receives students from Immaculate Conception Parish in Augusta, Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in New Melle, and the surrounding communities of Defiance, Dutzow, Femme Osage, Lake Sherwood, and Marthasville. Non-Catholics are welcomed as students in our school. They will also follow the ordinary curriculum that involves instructions on the teaching of Catholic faith.
