A swim meet, the Fair Acres Talent Show, a Block Party, Crimson Paddle, AND the ice cream truck...what a way to close out the final session of camp! The fun certainly kept rolling all the way to the very end.

A MASSIVE thank you to all of our Fair Acres Families for your support, encouragement, and enthusiasm day in and day out throughout the entire summer. We are so sad to see it come to an end, but we know Summer 2027 will be here before we know it!

Have a smooth start to the school year and a wonderful camp “off-season.” We already can’t wait to see you all next summer! ❤️

We wrapped up Session 2 with one of the most famous camp traditions, Campfire Night AND COLOR WARS! All in one week, how did we get so lucky?! Campfire Night was filled with smiles and laughs, plenty of competition with camp-wide Domination, a dusk swim, campfire stories, and, of course, s’mores to make the night even sweeter! Then on Friday, the Color Wars King did not disappoint, pulling out all the stops for our campers. From our Shubael’s Plunge down at the pond, to Flag Finder, to an EPIC battle of Capture the Flag, this year’s Color Wars was certainly one for the record books. A huge victory for the Blue Team, but it was one of the closest scores in Fair Acres history! Thank you to all our families for another amazing camp session. We cannot wait to see what fun is in the works for the rest of the summer!

How have we already wrapped up Session #1?! Time absolutely flies when you're at Fair Acres! This week was packed with fun as we stayed cool on our wicked-awesome frog slide, splashed around in the pond, built epic sand "monsters," and wrapped up the session with Summer-ween! 🎃

That's right, Halloween in the summer! We celebrated with trick-or-treating, spooky camp games, incredible costumes, and plenty of smiles to go around.

Now we're gearing up for Session #2! A huge thank you to all of our amazing campers and families for making the start of summer so special and to our top notch counselors for bringing the energy and excitement every single day. Session #1 set the bar high, but we're ready to top it next week!

✨ Setting sail on Shubael’s Pond for the first time this summer to officially kick off the 2026 camp season! ☀️

We launched summer the best way we know how—with camp classics like kickball, medic ball, dock jumping, and cooling off with some relaxing card games. We even put a wet‑n‑wild twist on Duck, Duck… SPLASH!

What an incredible first couple of days. Camper‑approved: best kickoff to summer yet!

Fair Acres’ End‑of‑Year Celebration, “Under the Big Top,” was a festive, welcoming, and joy‑filled community event. Families, children, and teachers came together to celebrate a wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection. The circus theme carried throughout the afternoon with balance‑beam challenges, tumbling fun, a bubbly sensory station, fresh popcorn, a lively photo booth, temporary tattoos, a strong‑man station, music, and playful performances. Laughter, smiles, and community spirit filled the campus as children explored each activity with excitement.

It was the perfect way to wrap up the school year and reflects the heart of our Fair Acres community.

Fair Acres proudly celebrated Flag Day, a day that honors the history, meaning, and symbolism of the American flag. It’s a moment to reflect on unity, freedom, and the values our flag represents. Children embraced the day with so much joy and spirit — dressed in red, white, and blue, waving their flags high, and placing their hands over their hearts as they recited a loud and heartfelt Pledge of Allegiance. We ended the celebration with a cheerful parade around the campus, little flags waving proudly with every step. It was a beautiful reminder of community, tradition, and the importance of teaching even our youngest learners about respect and patriotism.

The kindergarten class proudly launched their book this year! 📚✨ After weeks of hard work—writing, illustrating, planning, and editing—they were so excited to see their finished, published book come to life.
“The Amazing Underwater Adventure” is a true reflection of their creativity and teamwork! 🌊🐠
To celebrate this big accomplishment, the students made bookmarks and enjoyed delicious ice-cream sundaes! 🍦🎉
