Today, we closed the 2025-2026 school year with a staff luncheon. Staff was treated to a Mexican spread with drinks, cakes, cookies, and a fruit platter.
We’d like to thank Eagle Nation parents - Blair and Jessica Stegall, Richard and Beth Stegall, Travis Stegall, Adam and Adrienne Rorie, Chris and Lauren Davis, Brad and Kelly Baker, Jonathan and Amy Davis, Ray and Heather Smith, Cody and Jamie Mills, and Lisa Stutts - for sponsoring the staff luncheon.
We’d also like to thank community sponsors - Tonya Helms, Michelle Wise, Sherry Nash and Carrie Lehmann - for the drinks, cakes, cookies, and fruit!

We’re happy to announce that Mrs. Jodi Chaffin has been approved to begin her administrative career at East Union after serving as a principal intern here last year! Mrs. Chaffin will serve 8th-grade.

We want to wish Mr. Steven Lewis all the best as he leaves East Union to pursue an elementary assistant principalship at Western Union Elementary School.
Mr. Lewis is a phenomenal leader, and we’ll be cheering him on as he makes this transition!
We’ll miss you, Mr. Lewis!

Finishing touches currently happening at Forest Hills for tonight’s 8th-Grade Promotion Ceremony! Students and staff have worked hard preparing for tonight, and we’re so excited to formally transition our 8th-grade students to 9th-graders at Forest Hills High School!
As a reminder:
- Doors will close at 7 PM, no exceptions.
- Students have to be dropped off at the front of Forest Hills by 5:30.
- Doors will open at 6 PM.
- The front parking lot and bus parking lot are available for spectator parking.
- Due to the acoustics of the gym, please hold all applause until after all names are called.
- EUMS students and staff sections have been labeled. Please do not sit in these sections.

🚨 IMPORTANT PROMOTION LOGISTICAL ANNOUNCEMENT - PLEASE READ 🚨
Good Evening 8th Grade Families,.
There are some important details that need to be communicated to both spectators and students before tomorrow’s ceremony.
Students have to be dropped off at the front of Forest Hills High School by 5:30. The front parking lot and bus lot will be available for spectator parking. Students will report to the auditorium for final ceremony preparations. Students, faculty, and staff will depart from the auditorium and enter the Spectator Gym to begin the ceremony by 7 PM. Doors will open for spectators at 6 PM. Spectators must arrive before 7 PM. Doors will close at 7 PM and will not be reopened until the ceremony is complete. There will be two sections blocked off for 8th-grade students and staff. No spectators are allowed in these sections. Due to the acoustics in the gym, we are asking that applause be held until after all names are called.
Again, we look forward to celebrating your students’ promotion to 9th grade as they leave the Nest and enter the Hive at Forest Hills High School.
It has been a pleasure to serve your students during their time at East Union. They are truly a special cohort and will be missed immensely by the faculty and staff.
