Pioneer Day 2026 is a wrap! Friday, Shook was transformed back to the pioneer days complete with Skeeter Cakes, Square Dancing, and Cow Patty Throwing contests! Our 4th grade classes put on an impressive show, complete with a parade to honor the 250th anniversary of our nation! This is one of the most beloved days of the year, and we hope you enjoy a peek into all our fun!

Last week, the Chrysalis Etiquette Club, led by Mrs. Robertson, wrapped up another great year of learning with a celebration banquet at the Jr High. In collaboration with Mrs. Engleking’s 8th grade Advanced FACS students, the celebration included Salad, Bread, Chicken Parmesan over Pasta, Green Beans, and Chocolate Lava Cake served with strawberries, raspberries, and ice cream. Our club members were able to practice their new dining skills, enjoy their meal, and received certificates of completion. It was a great experience for all!

The Marshfield Blue Jay Singers competed in the Boys Choir of Springfield’s Festival on Friday, May 8th. They performed exceptionally well and received a Gold trophy! We’re so proud of them!

Today, Shook’s fifth-grade students participated in the “Don’t M**h with Us” program to learn about the consequences of methamphetamine use and how to embrace a drug-free future. This program was a short, yet impactful follow up to our Dare education earlier this year! **hWithUs
