Blue Jay families: Don’t let last year’s meal benefits expire!

If your child received free or reduced-price meals during 2025–26 and you have not completed a 2026–27 application or received a current-year approval notice, their prior-year meal benefits will end October 9.

Please submit your application before October 9.

Paper applications are available in every school office.

Qualifying students may receive free or reduced-price meals, reduced JayCare rates, and reduced activity fees. Applications may also help support district funding for programs such as preschool.

Already approved for 2026–27? No new application is needed. If you have submitted an application but are unsure of its status, contact your school office.

Parents, it's time to show your school spirit! The Shook Apparel Fundraiser Order form is available and ready for you. Students received a paper copy this week, but the form is attached here for you as well. To order, please be sure to complete the form and include cash or a check made out to Marshfield Schools. Orders must be placed no later than Thursday, Oct 8th. All apparel will be delivered to the student when the items arrive.

We are so excited to meet everyone’s grandparents! Just one more sleep… Thursday is the day!

GRANDPARENTS’ NIGHT IS COMING!
Blue Jay grandparents are invited to join us on Thursday, September 24, for Grandparents’ Night! Lots of special things have been planned for these special guests! So, whether you’re Mimi, Nonny, Grandma, Grandpa, Gramps, Paw Paw (you get the idea) in a Blue Jay’s life, mark your calendar and come see where your grand learns each day. If you’re in the mood to pick out a new book to read together, be sure to stop by the Book Fair at each school!

Hubble: 5:00–6:30 p.m.
Webster: 5:30–7:00 p.m.
Shook: 5:00–7:00 p.m.

It’s happening… Spirit Week begins tomorrow. Let’s GO!

Show us your as Homecoming Spirit! Spirit Week is coming, Sept 22-25!

Tuesday, Sept 22 — Captain America Day! Wear red, white, and blue.

Wednesday, Sept 23 — Incredible Hulk Day! Wear green and purple.

Thursday, Sept 24 — Infinity Stone Day!
Choose your power by wearing orange, yellow, blue, red, purple, green, or a mix of them all.

Friday, Sept 25 — Super Hero Day!
Dress like your favorite superhero or wear a superhero shirt.

Please note, Shook students may NOT wear masks or face paint. Additionally, any costumes that prohibit learning should be avoided. Please ask your child’s teacher when in doubt.
