Wisconsin families have a NEW choice for 4K this year — and many parents still don't know about it!

Through Wisconsin's new Get Kids Ready program, eligible 4-year-olds can receive FREE school-readiness instruction right here at Mama Bears through our Strong Start 4K program.

🎓 Real kindergarten preparation🧸 Play-based, developmentally appropriate learning❤️ Smaller groups & familiar teachers🌱 A strong focus on social-emotional skills🚌 No bussing between 4K and child care😴 A full day designed around the needs of 4-year-olds📚 One familiar place to learn, play and grow

And for working families, wrap-around care is available before and after 4K — all in the same building, with the same familiar faces. Wisconsin Shares may be used toward wrap-around care for eligible families.

💙 When a community comes together, amazing things happen. 💙

A few months ago, we hosted a community event where the "admission fee" was simply a donation for The Hannah Center. (Yes...it took us a little while to get everything delivered 😅.)

Today, we had the privilege of dropping off all of the items pictured here, plus a stroller and a high chair!

To every family who donated—thank you. ❤️ Whether you brought a pack of diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, or other baby essentials, your generosity will make a real difference for local families.

If you're not familiar with The Hannah Center, they do so much more than many people realize. They provide safe housing and support for women and children rebuilding their lives after crisis, while also serving families throughout Central Wisconsin through Hannah's Caring Closet, where parents can receive diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, baby gear, and other essentials at no cost when they need a helping hand. They also offer life skills classes, mentorship, advocacy, and community support to help women build stable, independent futures.

We are incredibly grateful to have organizations like The Hannah Center serving our community, and we're honored that our Mama Bears families could play a small part in supporting their mission.

Thank you for helping us show our children what it means to care for our neighbors. ❤️

Our Mama Bears Strong Start 4K program gives children a strong foundation for kindergarten while making life just a little easier for busy families.

Another week filled with laughter, learning, creativity, and friendships! Another week of amazing magnet creations, making our own play dough, card games galore, and of course painting and gluing!

Thank you to our amazing teachers for making every day meaningful and every child feel loved. We hope all of our Mama Bears families have a wonderful weekend, and we can't wait to see everyone next week! 🐻❤️
