Hubble Elementary Fall Party and Costume Parade

Date: October 30

Hubble’s student costume parade will begin at 1:30 p.m.

Families are welcome to attend and watch the parade from the stands at R. A. Barr Stadium as students show off their fall costumes.

All guests must remain in the stands until all kindergarten and first-grade classes have completed their respective parades and exited the track.

Students may not be picked up during the parade.

Classroom Party Volunteers:

If you are interested in assisting with your child’s classroom party, please contact your child’s teacher as soon as possible.

Please keep the following requirements in mind for all party volunteers:

Pre-arrangement required: Only parents who have made arrangements with the teacher in advance will be allowed to attend the party.

Check-in: All parents assisting must check in with identification upon arrival.

Limited space: Due to classroom size, the number of available volunteer spots may be limited.

Volunteer forms: A volunteer form must be completed each school year.

Safety Registry: Volunteers must be registered with the DHSS Family Care Safety Registry. This is a one-time process.

Younger siblings: Please make arrangements for younger siblings, as they may not attend the classroom party.

If your family qualified for Free or Reduced meals last year and you have not filled out a new application for this year, your benefits will expire TODAY.

Submit your new application through the Parent Portal or complete a paper application available in all building offices.

Blue Jay families: Don’t let last year’s meal benefits expire!

If your child received free or reduced-price meals during 2025–26 and you have not completed a 2026–27 application or received a current-year approval notice, their prior-year meal benefits will end October 9.

Please submit your application before October 9.

Paper applications are available in every school office.

Qualifying students may receive free or reduced-price meals, reduced JayCare rates, and reduced activity fees. Applications may also help support district funding for programs such as preschool.

Already approved for 2026–27? No new application is needed. If you have submitted an application but are unsure of its status, contact your school office.
