We are proud to recognize our Marshall Maverick Varsity Football Team for demonstrating outstanding sportsmanship during their recent away game against Texas High! We also want to commend Coach Hammett for the positive culture he has built and continues to foster at Marshall ISD. Our athletes exemplify leadership, character, and respect, both on and off the field, and we are proud to see them representing the Maverick family so well.

🏈Here is what referee, Kelly Norris, had to say about your Marshall Mavericks:
"Multiple Marshall players introduced themselves to members of our crew in pre-game. During the game, every interaction that I had with Marshall players, and with Coach Hammett, they were cordial and respectful.

Both of my wing officials stated that the Marshall sideline was the best sideline environment they have had in a long while. This is a testament to the sportsmanship culture that Coach Hammett is building."

TAEA - 2026 Texas Art Education Association's txEDCON (TASA/TASB) Exhibition

Congratulations to Olivia Su from Marshall High School for her artwork – Raven in Somewhere – being selected for the 2026 txEDCON - TASA / TASB (the Texas Association of School Administrators and the Texas Association of School Boards) Exhibition, presented by the Texas Art Education Association's Youth Art Month Program, which will be held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, October 8-11, 2026.

This exhibition showcases Pre-K through 12th-grade student works of art from across the state of Texas that have been selected to represent various school districts and private schools, along with an art advocacy booth where conference attendees can learn more about the importance of quality visual arts programs at the local, regional, and state levels. We are so proud of you, Olivia!
