Before we ever turn a wrench at the track, we’re in the classroom studying chassis setup, suspension changes, tire pressures, weight transfer, and how each adjustment affects the car’s performance. Then we put that knowledge to work on race day. HandsOnLearning

Arby’s Foundation Partners with Project Your Home to Sponsor Dee McCall Racing for 2026 Season, Empowering Student Pit Crew

Asheville, North Carolina — May 11, 2026 — Project Your Home and Dee McCall Racing are proud to announce a new partnership with the Arby's Foundation for the 2026 racing season. This sponsorship, made possible through an Arby’s Foundation Local Grant in partnership with Project Your Home, will provide critical support for Dee McCall Racing’s mission of mentorship, education, and high-octane life lessons.

Dee McCall, the owner and driver of Dee McCall Racing, serves his community as a dedicated high school shop teacher. For McCall, racing is more than just a quest for the checkered flag; it is a mobile classroom. While Dee sits behind the wheel, the heart of the operation is his crew—a team composed entirely of high school students who handle the technical, mechanical, and logistical demands of a professional racing season.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Arby’s Foundation and Project Your Home for recognizing the value of what we are building here,” said Dee McCall. “Racing is the ultimate team sport. It teaches these students accountability, problem-solving under pressure, and the value of hard work. I may be the one driving the car, but nothing happens at the track without the skill and dedication of these students. This grant ensures they have the resources they need to succeed both on the track and in life.”

The Arby’s Foundation Local Grants program focuses on supporting organizations that empower youth and strengthen communities. By partnering with Project Your Home—a non-profit dedicated to community uplift and residential stability—the Foundation is helping bridge the gap between vocational education and real-world application.

“Project Your Home is honored to facilitate this connection between the Arby’s Foundation and Dee McCall Racing,” said Jason Siedel, Executive Director at Project Your Home. “Dee’s program is a perfect example of how hands-on experience can transform a student’s trajectory, especially those impacted by Hurricane affected areas. We are thrilled to see the Arby’s logo on the car, representing a shared commitment to the next generation of tradespeople and leaders.”

The 2026 season promises to be the team’s most ambitious yet, with a full schedule of races where students will manage everything from engine tuning to pit stops. This partnership provides the necessary funding for equipment, travel, and safety gear, ensuring the students have a professional-grade environment to hone their crafts.
Fans can follow the team’s progress, go behind the scenes with the student crew, and view the 2026 race schedule by following the Grassroots Network and Dee McCall Racing on Facebook.
