Our eighth grade final project for World Agri is growing corn micro greens using the most bare minimum resources. In World Agriculture we do our best to learn how agriculture can be done all over the world. This growing method makes it possible to grow food quickly and in small, otherwise unusable spaces. We canโ€™t wait to see what recipes theyโ€™ll think up to cook these!

This award recognizes the active roll that we have played in our community and state this year. We have some amazing students representing Marshall FFA here at 95th FFA state convention in Hot Springs! Today our students got to meet many FFA members from across the state, hold a snake, and meet the many folks who approached them to talk about their own times in FFA. They were surprised at the smiles and good memories locals have but quickly it became the norm. We are so proud of all our first time convention attendees!!!๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›

Today our students got to welcome ten piglets into the world! The sow is our 2021 County Fair Grand Champion โ€œPeachโ€ shown by Josie Dunsing. Thank you to all the awesome students that stayed after to help and just to see the miracle happen. Stay tuned for the naming of all these little ones!

Results are in! We didnโ€™t make it to state but we sure had fun trying. We got to experience the contest in person after only being virtual and learn where we need to improve for next year. We are so so proud of our members!! We would also like to take a moment to give a special thanks to all of the parents and guardians who had them up at the school at 6am to compete as well as all the support theyโ€™ve provided to their students and the chapter. Having a dedicated support system is critical to student success and our parents/guardians have gone above and beyond to provide that. On behalf of all of us, thank you๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›
