Today starts national Deaf history month!

National Deaf History Month begins today!

March 13 - April 15

Today, 31 years ago in 1988, after a week-long protest by the students at Gallaudet University, the school board appointed its first Deaf President in 124 years. Since then, Gallaudet has always had a Deaf President.
