Career Exploration week is off to a great start! Today we talked about the role of a doctor, learned that going to the doctor doesn’t have to be scary, and practiced being doctors on each other!

Slacking on our weekly updates—This week is Storybook land! Yesterday we learned about the Chameleon 🦎 and read the book “A color of his own.” We attempted watercolor painting too!

Today we read the book “The Watermelon Seed” and the kids are excited to eat watermelon for lunch! We checked on our very own watermelon plants—and the kiddos agreed they didn’t want to eat any of the seeds in case a 🍉 ended up growing in their tummy 😂🤷‍♀️

It’s been nice having cooler weather in the mornings—makes it easier to play hard before nap!

What perfect weather it was today!

Today is the day that these two spread their “big girl” wings and say goodbye to the daycare world! I’ve gotten to spend the last 4.5 years with these girls and we’ve had some fun memories. It’s always bittersweet when a child graduates daycare but it’s important for me to create a solid relationship with the entire family unit to insure that it’s a “see ya later” not a goodbye.

Have an awesome summer girls, Macey sure does love ya! 💕
